I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We shared the morning with local friends, enjoying brunch together. It was fun to connect and enjoy pumpkin waffles and Cajun country breakfast, before we all had other obligations. Thanksgiving brunch is a tradition we started many years ago. It is a time to slow down, enjoy food and conversation, make new connections.
The “holiday season” is here. It can easily become a time of overwhelm, too many commitments, a time of stress. Today I am sharing another tip for dealing with stress.
I am a huge fan of essential oils. They are powerful healing agents for most any ailment ~ emotional, physical, or spiritual. Stress is no exception. One of my favorite oils for stress is lavender essential oil. You can use it several ways. Here are a few ways I use lavender essential oil:
- Diffuse or inhale the oil
- At end of a shower, before drying off, place 3 drops in palm of your hand. Rub your hands together, then apply the oil to your entire damp body.
- Add 2-3 drops to a hot bath. Soak away your stress.
Don’t let stress become your manager. Sign up for my new program, Less Stress Holidays, today. Less Stress Holidays launches December 1st.
Make this year the year you enjoy the holidays instead of feeling stressed.
